This Privacy Policy explains how Rubik's Academy ("we", "us", "the site"), available at rubiksacademy.live, handles information when you visit. The short version: we don't ask you to create an account, we don't collect your name or email through the site, and the tools run entirely in your browser. The site is funded by third-party advertising, and those advertisers may use cookies as described below.
Information we collect
Information you give us
We only receive personal information if you choose to email us. In that case we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it only to reply to you.
Information stored on your device
The timer saves your solve times in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your times in the timer or clearing your browser's site data.
The solver works entirely in your browser; the puzzle states you enter are not sent to our server.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web host automatically records standard technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads to keep the site free. Ads are provided by third-party ad networks, including Adsterra and its partners. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to:
- serve ads and limit how often you see the same ad,
- measure ad performance and prevent fraud, and
